This is to inform members and supporters that I, Steven G. Spinosa, have re-registered as a Conservative as of June 12th, 2009 and reclaimed my position as State Chairman of the New Jersey Conservative Party.
Mr. Fee Chan Leung has returned to his Vice-chairman slot, relieving Mr. Marshall.

The NJCP was formed to give voice to the people of NJ and to act as a template for other State grassroot parties to follow.
We have all become distracted by daily events and outrages being performed by our Local, State and National elected officials. Don’t be distracted! The root of the problem is the people in office, if you don’t change them and how they got into office, you will change NOTHING.
Chasing around legislation, bills and executive orders will absolutely wear you out and empty your wallet, and in the long run, will accomplish nothing. AND that’s the general idea! Keep everyone busy and distracted, let them make small victories, then let the people go home happy and THEN do whatever THEY want when no one is looking.
The NJCP was formed on a simple basis, giving power back to the people in the most direct way possible. Our primary mission was to promote State and National Term Limits and to work for Initiative and Referendum ( I & R). Building a State Party and running candidates was the way to promote this agenda.
Founder Tom Blomquist’s immortal words :
“ Allow Your Good Name On The Ballot”
Daily events time and time again prove that our elected officials do not have the public’s welfare at heart and will not change under any circumstance, believing that they are so insulated from the people that they can do as they please, when they please.
It is time to call for new members, new people who are willing to work to build an organization that can make improvements, not just “change”.
Yours Truly,
Leonard Marshall
Acting Vice-Chairman, NJCP

POLITICS AS IT SHOULD BE !
Last month our State Chairman, Steve Spinosa, took an extraordinary step, something that I have never witnessed before in American Politics.
Steve has voluntarily stepped down as NJCP Party Chairman and changed his Party affiliation to personally support Republican candidate Steve Lonegan in the NJ Gubernatorial Primary.
Should Lonegan win the Primary, OUR Steve, and the rest of the NJCP will support THEIR Steve in the General Election.
As general policy of the NJCP, we always allow our members to support the candidates of their choice and to follow their conscience. The by-laws of the NJCP do not allow membership to any person holding membership in any other party, thus precipitating Steve Spinosa's temporary resignation. Senior Party members have agreed to his resignation and will welcome him back as soon as he has finished helping the Lonegan campaign.
Steve Lonegan should feel greatly honored and humbled to have as great a friend and supporter as Steve Spinosa, a man who put his conscience, support and friendship before Party and politics.
Yours Truly,
Leonard Marshall
Acting Vice-Chairman, NJCP

AFP-NJ ENCOURAGES STATE TO FIRE GOLDMAN SACHS AS ECONOMIC ADVISERS
Americans For Prosperity-NJ has learned that the State Of New Jersey paid the Goldman Sachs firm millions of dollars in fees and incurred billions of dollars in debt that their financial wizards insisted was safe. In turn Goldman Sachs advised their high-net worth clients to bet against our bonds and profit from the state's potential fiscal collapse-A risk that THEY helped to create. This is a gross conflict of interest and an ethical breach. The New Jersey Conservative Party joins with Americans For Prosperity-NJ in urging our citizens to write BOTH Gov. Corzine and their State Representatives insisting that they vote to fire Goldman Sachs as our economic advisers. To take action click here: http://www.americansforprosperity.org/nj Thank you.

To The People of the State of New Jersey:
The NJ Conservative Party is a grass-roots citizens political
organization. Our by-laws establish a decision-making process
that is devastating simple. Each member has a vote on our
platform positions, whether or not we field candidates or endorse
non-NJCP candidates. These decisions are made on the basis of:
ONE MAN, ONE WOMAN, ONE VOTE
We are the ONLY political party in New Jersey which is ruled by
the members and NOT political bosses!!! We believe that ideas
are important and have consequences. Whether it is fighting to
make government spending details accessible to the public or
placing a limit on political terms, We are interested in getting the
job done. It doesn't matter who gets the credit for it. Our message
to the people of New Jersey is: YOU can join with other like-
minded citizens and with the strength of numbers, offer the
voters a real alternative to the status quo.
